The clearest mental upgrade I have had in years. Stocks, flows, and feedback loops turn out to explain most of what happens in products and teams.
Remember, always, that everything you know, and everything everyone knows, is only a model.
Why it matters
Gave me a vocabulary for why systems behave the way they do — and why pushing harder on the wrong lever changes nothing.
Healthcare is a system of systems, and this book is the closest thing I have found to a field guide for it. The leverage-points chapter alone is worth the price.
